Lens Replacement, Forsyth GA
New Lenses in Your Own Frames
Scratched, broken or just worn out? We duplicate the prescription from your current glasses and cut new lenses in our on-site lab, often the same day.
Lens Replacement and Rx Duplication
Keep the Frames You Love
Most people do not need new frames, they need new lenses. If your glasses are scratched, a lens cracked, or you simply want better coatings, we can read the prescription directly from your existing lenses and make a fresh pair for the frames you already own. No new exam is required.
Georgia law specifically allows a licensed dispensing optician to duplicate lenses without a prescription, and it is one of the services our on-site lab was built for. Bring the glasses in, we measure them on the lensometer, confirm the frame is sound, and get to work.
Because the lab is in the building, there is no waiting on an outside lab. Many single-vision duplications are ready the same day. Progressives, high-index materials and specialty coatings take a little longer, and we tell you the timing before you commit.

Common Questions
Lens Replacement FAQ
Can you put new lenses in my old frames?
Yes, as long as the frame is in good condition. We check it first. If it is cracked or brittle we will tell you before you spend money on lenses.
Do I need a new eye exam to replace my lenses?
No. We duplicate the prescription from your current lenses. If your prescription is more than a couple of years old we may suggest an exam, but it is not required for duplication.
How fast can you replace lenses?
Our on-site lab finishes many single-vision replacements the same day. Progressive and specialty lenses usually take a few days.
Can you duplicate lenses from a broken pair?
Usually, yes. If enough of the lens is intact to read, we can recreate it. If not, a written prescription from any eye doctor works.
